SPNHL, Season 36: Week Four – Players of the Week

Welcome to Players of the Week: Week 4 Edition. This week, we have 1 returning player of the week and 2 new players. So we have some consistent dominance from certain guys, and other guys trying to make their claim at an individual trophy at the end of the season. 
 
Forwards: 
Whitetees41: 8 GP, 24 G, 17 A, 41 P, 5.1 PPG, +12, 88 GV, 20 TK.
In my opinion, one of the front runners for MVP this season, Whitetees continues to show his dominance in SPNHL with once again an amazing week for a Calgary forward. This guy is going to be a force to be reckoned with come playoff time and I wish any opposing defenders luck when they see this guy coming straight at them.

Gucci_gui: 9 GP, 16 G, 24 A, 40 P, 4.4 PPG, +25, 182 GV, 40 TK.
Fluri37: 8 GP, 15 G, 22 A, 37 P, 4.6 PPG, +11, 83 GV, 25 TK.
TrueLegend07: 8 GP, 13 G, 20 A, 33 P, 4.1 PPG, +15, 81 GV, 22 TK.
 
Defence: 
shepard-88-: 5 GP, 2 G, 8 A, 10 P, 2.0 PPG, +19, 22 GV, 23 TK
Shepard is more known as a forward but has done a great job this season slotting in at defence for the Nashville Predators. He has been great defensively for the team, especially shown this week with his positive takeaway/giveaway ratio and has helped his team offensively as well when they needed it. If Nashville wants to stand a chance in the playoffs, shepard’s going to need to be on his game.

Goalie:
MPurch: 7 GP, 6-1, .849 SV%, 1.6 GAA, 1 SO.
MPurch went off this week, going 6-1 for the Toronto Maple Leafs with an .849 save percentage and 1.6 goals against average. Those numbers are so good I’m surprised he even lost a game. Toronto’s offensive duo was already good with Gui and toslick, and now they add a potential top goalie coming to form. Good luck to whoever faces the Toronto Maple Leafs.
