Recap

1st period:
quick tic-tac-toe passing to net one for the avalanche early in the first.

ANA pressure puts a bit a sweat on the avs but vandoos stays strong.

ANA on a face off play manages to sneak one far side on vandoos from an almost unnatural angle.

the avalanche fire back right away to retake the lead.
Colorado takes a penalty off a panic turnover in front of their own net. They manage to survive half of it as the period ends.

2nd period:

Both team exchange a handful of bad penalties but no goals come from it.

half way through a quick shot is saved by vandoos but a terrible animation made him spasm and trow the puck into the net behind him handing ANA the tieing goal.

3rd Period:

Colorado has a slight brain fart chasing down a lose puck while holding their stick out which slowed them down long enough to allow the other team to beat them to it which results in a goal against.

moments later on the powerplay plisk is rocked and the loose puck goes to the LD dougie who takes it up for him and rips one left corner.

not long after the avs tuck in two more one of which a half breakaway for pliskin who had the puck poked off his stick from behind. Luck has it, it had enough momentum to finish crossing the goal line.
