Thursday Recap

Hello Everyone, It’s your boy DogeLisp back to your daily recap. On the 2nd night of SPNHL the 3 remaining undefeated teams officially took at least 1 loss. Leaving no teams to be undefeated anymore, but we still have two winless teams in Anaheim and New York Islanders! Anywho let’s get right into the recap of each team, and their weaknesses of last night, and positives.

  1. Nashville Predators: 2-1-0, Producing 16 goals for and 11 goals against, this team had another solid night offensively. With Agedquod leading the way for his team producing good numbers and having a 6 goal game against Pittsburgh and 6 points against the Blues, we’ve seen so far a glimpse of good things to come. Also with the additions of xShepxrd and Heroic_veil last night playing their part after being acquired last night. I expect to see similar results tomorrow night.

GVA: 124

TKA/INT: 113

Positives:

Producing on the offensive side of the ice, Goaltending solid

Negatives:

Defensive Side, Allowing too many shots per game, Giveaways

  1. St Louis Blues: 2-1-0, Producing 14 goals for and 13 goals against, This team produced well when needed, the team played well on the forecheck for most games getting good looks, just struggled to finish quite a bit of open looks. Lappy led the team with 10 points while Garnzy tallied 7 points in 3 games at the defensive side. Still a well oiled team even though the first two games were rough only having 6 shots in game 1. We’ll see if they can continue their good run tomorrow against some good teams.

            GVA: 67

TKA/INT: 103

Positives:

Team only allowed an average of 22 Giveaways per game, great forechecking, Team                   spirit.

Negatives:

Shaky Defensively, LispDoge

  1. Arizona Coyotes: 3-0-0, Producing 15 Goals for and 8 goals against, this team had a solid night with Shock_R only allowing 8 Goals against on 51 Shots, and beating Philadelphia in the process.  Chico producing 10 points in tonight’s games helped their team substantially as well. Good outing as a whole team!

GVA: 122

TKA/INT: 118

Positives:

Good use of the body in hits, Goaltending, Offense

Negatives:

Giveaways

  1. Ottawa Senators: 3-0-0, Producing 20 Goals for and a total of 6 goals against they had a high 14 goal diff. Jonturner heated up last night with 12 points in 3 games leading his team to a solid 3 wins. On top of that Iceyasylum, and gunner both played fantastic in front of the team to keep the low scoring game close. Looking forward to seeing this team after tomorrow!

GVA: 130

TKA/INT: 122

Positives:

Offense, Goalies playing great, TURNER!, Use of forecheck

Weakness:

Too many Giveaways

  1. Philadelphia Flyers:  1-2-0, Producing only 6 Goals for, allowing 8 against, this team had a rough night on the offensive side of things. They’ll need to score more than 2 goals a game if they want to win more games. Once again this team is very great defensively, allowing only 22 shots in the 3 games played against. Just an unfortunate night of shots not going in. (The Blues understand)

GVA: 120

TKA/INT: 121

Positives:

Shooting the puck, Defense, Goaltending

Weakness:

Scoring(Legit unlucky)

  1. New Jersey Devils: 2-1-0, Producing 11 Goals for, and allowing 17 goals against. It was a rough game for them against the Senators. As they had no answer against them, they bounced back right after defeating the sharks 4-2. Alonzi Allowed 17 Goals against 48 shots. Other than that the team still performed to expectations playing well. Tomorrow they’ll hopefully look to do the same.

GVA: 107

TKA/INT: 137

Positives:

Solid Faceoffs, good forechecking, Low turnovers

Weakness:

Goaltending

  1. Pittsburgh Penguins:  1-2-0, Producing 8 Goals for, allowing 11 goals against, Pittsburgh played as I expected considering the competition they faced. Beanzy faced 58 shots against him in those 3 games. Which is nearly 20 shots allowed. They definitely need to work on stopping teams from entering their zone to take as many shots for the future. We’ll see how they fare tomorrow against the bottom teams in the standings tomorrow night.

GVA: 126

TKA/INT: 114

Positives:

Faceoffs

Weakness:

Allowing too many shots, Defense, need to use the body more

  1. Florida Panthers: 2-1-0, Producing 13 goals for, and allowing only 7 against. This team turned it around from Tuesday. We got to see a couple of key pivotal players for them today with Fluri37, Clampse, and Genzy playing well tonight. As well as x2 Conn Smythe winner Choo Stopping 43 out of 51 shots last night. I can’t wait to see how they fair tomorrow against their opponents.

GVA: 103

TKA/INT: 86

Positives:

Goaltending, Offense

Weakness:

Need to forecheck more, Use the body, Faceoffs.

  1. Colorado Avalanche: 1-1-1, Producing 7 Goals for, and 10 against their seeming to do okay for the most part, it’s just their missing 1 piece of their offense to win those pivotal games. ThaFoSix Played as solid as he can for the team along with mastermoose. Stopping 46 of 56 shots in the 3 games. With Karlsson in the lineup tomorrow hopefully that can help you guys try to go positive on the night. Good solid outing though boys.

GVA:  105

TKA/INT: 121

Positives:

Great awareness to get the puck on turnovers, Faceoffs, Solid Goaltending

Weakness:

Stop allowing over 18 shots a game, Offense

  1. San Jose Sharks: 1-2-0, Producing 8 goals for, and 8 goals against. This team is still very neutral in their first 6 games. Not terrible, but also not great. Team has great players around it’s just about finding the chemistry. Sharks only allowed 28 shots against you last night, which got you 2nd least amount of shots in the night. You guys kept in the games you lost to the Avalanche, and Devils. Just needed to shoot more. Defensively this team plays great, just a little tuning in the forward side, and I see you guys being deadly.

GVA: 121

TKA/INT: 120

Positives:

Defense, Forechecking, Keeping teams from shooting

Weakness:

Faceoffs, Goaltending, Offense

  1. Anaheim Ducks: 0-3-0, Producing the league low of 4 goals for this night and allowing 11 goals against. No offense to be seen. Allowing 49 shots against them they need to work on a little bit of the defensive side as well. C’mon Mr Egg you got this.

GVA: 124

TKA: 104

Positives:

Faceoffs, Team Spirit

Weakness:

Giveaways, Offense, Need to use more of the body for hits.

  1. New York Islanders: 0-2-1, Producing 10 Goals for, and 14 goals against the team is finally starting to get on the right track. Just needs to focus on the defense a little more in the Offensive zone. Too many breakouts are given up by this team, and only so much defense can do when 3 guys are open at times. On top of goaltending being a little shaky right now, hopefully they can find a true #1 goalie so this team can start taking some Wins.

GVA: 126

TKA/INT: 119

Positives:

Doranz

Weakness:

Goaltending, Team Spirit, Faceoffs, Giveaways, Penalties

Thank you all for taking the time to read the Recap of the night.

Tuesday Recap

Hello Everyone! It’s your boy Dogelisp here with your Team Daily Recap! I won’t waste any more time, but get right into it starting with the top of the standings to the bottom!

  1. Nashville Predators: Nashville had a red hot start to the start of the season picking up 3 wins day 1. With a total of 12 goals for, and only allowing 5 against. They made sure to show up against their competition! JoshuaDuhaime had a pivotal role in their 3 games allowing 1 goal only both against San Jose and Anaheim. Still faced 43 shots in the 3 games, he definitely stood out last night! Fishhure tallying up 11 points with dishing apples to his winger Agedquod who amassed 7 goals. This team so far is looking solid going into Thursday.

TEAM GVA: 109

TEAM TKA/INT: 116

Positives:

Team looks to be performing well on both sides of the ice with a positive team GVA:TKA. As well as them laying the body in games to amass 61 hits in the 3 games.

Weakness:

Need forwards other than fishhure and agedquod to score points.

  1. St Louis Blues: The Blues took a win in all 3 games last night scoring 13 goals for, and 7 against. Team led by EpicxSkillzy and Garnzy with both having 20 pts together! A solid outing by Patjoyce on defense besides giving San Jose their only goal in game 2! On top of that their goalie played well with a sv% of 84.78%. This team will be facing the Nashville Predators on Thursday. One team is bound to take their first loss of the season.

TEAM GVA: 128

TEAM TKA/INT: 141

Positives:

Solid on both sides of ice, Good PK unit

Weakness:

Too many pens, Needs to lay the body more in games, giveaways, need better owner

  1. Philadelphia Flyers: The Flyers are the last team to go 3-0 on the night. This team played great defensively allowing only 4 against them, while scoring 10 of their own. This is one of the best defensive teams in the league, and tues night showed why. Every player pretty much played a pivotal role, but turkeytennis844 takes the mvp of the night ensuring teams could not score much on him.

TEAM GVA: 151

TEAM TKA/INT: 145

Positives:
Overall solid showing from both sides, Good PP unit with 33%.

Weakness:

Only weakness is need to work on moving the puck more so not as many giveaways

  1. Pittsburgh Penguins: The Penguins wanted to prove to everyone last night that they are not here to play around. Putting up 13 goals allowing 10 in 3 games, and only losing their only game to New Jersey in OT, they showed they can hang with the SP Kids. With 27 pts amassed by their forward line of alltro1, gritty13, and jubjjjjjub they showed their great chemistry up top. They also used the body quite a bit with 65 hits in their 3 games, showing the use of their bigger builds.

TEAM GVA:106
TEAM TKA/INT: 110

Positives:

Use of body, Forwards producing equally, Goaltending solid, not turning over puck much

Weakness:

Need to work on not letting teams shoot more that 15+ shots a game

  1. New Jersey Devils: Devils winning 2 out of the 3 games with 14 goals scored for and 7 against, tied for 1st in DIFF. Blade0muffin faced 47 shots allowing 7 goals in the 3 games. Had a solid outing from their whole team from back on defense to their forwards. 23 Points between Semple19, John_dean and desiredsno3. Good play from each of you!

TEAM GVA: 142

TEAM TKA/INT: 142

Positives:

Great Offensive presence from Defense and Forwards, Solid Defense

Weakness:
Turnovers from forwards, John_dean himself (jokes)

  1. Arizona Coyotes: Last night the Coyotes went 1-1-1, This team put up the most goals for last night with 16, but also allowed 15 on themselves. Bigdaddino scored 4 goals both against Anaheim and St louis proving he is him. Great outing by Jewellx11 with 8 pts in 3 games as well on the defensive side.

TEAM GVA: 118

TEAM TKA/INT: 97

Positives:

Solid Scoring, goaltending, and good use of body

Weakness:

Need to be more active to get TKA/INT, Need to be better defensively.

  1. San Jose Sharks: Sharks with a 1-1-1 record Scored 7 total goals in 3 games but only allowed 7 goals against. They were close to going 1-0-2 but with them taking 5 pens in game 2 cost them at the end. They sharks sensed a change might be needed and made a trade rather quickly. Randy you’re gutless. Defensively and goaltending wise this team played solid throughout last night.

TEAM GVA: 123

TEAM TKA/INT: 107

Positives:
Defense, Goaltending

Weakness:

Need Scoring, Taking too many pens, Giveaways

  1. Colorado Avalanche: Colorado went 1-1-1 as well tues night Scoring only 8 goals and had 12 goals against. They were was noticeably defensively shaky, as the forwards could not put up much against their opponents. Bxrt67 must be loving being a 1st overall pick right now. HEAT UP! I honestly have nothing much to say about their performance tues night beyond that.

TEAM GVA: 111

TEAM TKA/INT: 113

Positives:

Bxrt67

Weakness:

They needed to tighten up defensively.

  1. Florida Panthers: Panthers went 1-2, with 14 Goals for and 9 goals against. That new york game was a great stat pad game for them. With their offense producing 31 points between Freeze, Genzy, and Smitzey. Team looks well on the offensive side if they have their main 3 players all there. Missrogue played well before getting shipped out to STL. We’ll see how Florida with their new players play on Thursday.

TEAM GVA:  81

TEAM TKA/INT:  114

Positives:

Good Offense, Good forchecking to get takeaways

Weakness:

Need to defend against point shots, focus on getting min 15 shots in per game

  1. Ottawa Senators: The Sens 1-2-0 record is nothing to look at seriously for day 1. They can produce a solid lineup if they can get coordinate their schedules. Ande, and Bejimo and Hxrdie are very capable of carrying. They should be giving Gunnnxrr the goalie games if he’s signed up for more than 3, because he is a solid goalie.

TEAM GVA: 124

TEAM TKA/INT: 107

Positives:

TURNER!

Weakness:

Need to work on not turning the puck over much, or going for hits on defense allowing teams to take 2 on 1’s. Forwards need to click more together to produce better scoring chances

  1. Anaheim Ducks: The ducks walked away with 1 point in 3 games going 0-2-1. Allowing 2nd most goals against with 18 in 3 games. The team on paper has good players, but availability is going to cost them. Hopefully with the addition of bstieboy it should get a little better for the rest of the week. I see this team turning it around, but we’ll reassess on thursday.

TEAM GVA: 103

TEAM TKA/INT: 70

Positives:

Not taking pens

Weakness:

Giveaways kill teams, need more forchecking, and need scoring.

  1. New York Islanders: Islanders had a poor showing on Tuesday, with only 3 goals scored and 23 goals against. Clarkzov ran enforcer in game 3 hitting everyone in his path as the other teams scored 10+ goals on them. No, but unfortunate showing for the islanders with the lack of sign ups cost this team greatly. They unfortunately managed 126 GVA which was the main factor of not having much puck possession all night. Hopefully Thursday will end up better or it could be a long season for them.

TEAM GVA: 126

TEAM TKA/INT: 118

Positives:
Team Spirit!

Weakness:

currently many things until they find their stride

Thank you everyone for taking the time to read the recap.

Turner’s Preseason Rankings

Alright alright. Real rankings have arrived. Doge you’re fantastic but that was JUNK. Here I will rank teams based on conference then a full list below that. Hope you enjoy because I have currently lost feeling in my foot (plisk edit: and spread to your brain based on the below) and can’t get up. Enjoy! Also remember this will certainly be spot on and I expect everyone to be happy,

Western Conference

Numero Uno. Sup Randy. The San Jose Sharks. Offensively this is a top 3 maybe 2 team in SP. Defensively and Goaltending, ok. I have an idea of what you will do and it should work and will probably make this look stupid but we are here for controversy. Going with the same goalies that ended your season last year is also hilarious.

Number 2. Arizona. Chico already being one of the better players here at numerous positions, it will open up the coyotes to do some cool things. If the top 6 I believe they shall run, then they will make a huge run this season. When depth comes up however, this is what separates them from San Jose. Still a very good top 6.

Number 3. St Louis. Doge essentially created a bring your own team team. What he wanted he got. I assume most of them play together all the time giving a leg up on most teams. However those who didn’t, how many will stay is the next question.  Doge, I still believe in you.

Number 4. Nashville. Solo probably gonna @ me and say just wait for the 15th time this week, but the three teams above are just a tad better for certain reasons. Fish and fLuri have already proclaimed they will only play 3 a week, this could cause an issue if true. If not, Fish Fluri and quod will win them games and if hyper finds his R2 button before tuesday, they could push for the number 3 spot. I worry about shaky goaltending but this team is more than capable of winning in a shootout.

Number 5. Anaheim. This looks like one of the best teams on paper. Unfortunately if you can read past all the stats attached to those players and see the availability and willingness to play, you will understand why they are here. First 4 selections by Egg, A1. I applaud him for that. Following them however do not come close to matching them. With 3 guys having 1 day/4 game avail, I find it hard that those depth players will be able to get the job done. Egg, make some trades, you got this.

Number 6. Colorado. Well, Bart and Karlsson. Woohoo!  I think they win games but how many. Bart can only do too much and if Karlsson doesn’t give a care this will go as expected. Vandoos may need to find a time machine and make 1000 saves this season. Braz g refused is tough he probably would’ve stolen a couple games. Hope for the best, don’t finish last.

Eastern Conference

Numba 1. Philly. Seems like that number has been attached with them since Cuban let go of ownership. So this team has potential to be an all time team. Hughsy, Kyle and Turk make up an elite back end that may average 1 goal against a game. Flow, Jcpens and a mystery center will be more than capable of scoring. Depth players shouldn’t be an issue, there is skill everywhere.

Number 2. New Jersey. Likewise to Philly, the top 6 are elite. Depth is the question mark. But back to the big 6. John Dean, Semp and presumably Toslick will be very good. Steve with a combination of literally anyone will be just fine. New Jersey vs Philly games may have to be a mandatory game of the night every time.

Number 3. My Ottawa Senators. I have been told I will be playing LW with Ande and Bej. I am very excited as I am not allowed to skate up front often for various reasons. My one concern will be a mix of Hardie x Devon on defense. Gunner will be a top 5 g here if we don’t take 7 5 minute penalties a game. Depth players will be competitive in most games. Shoutout Bologna Tah tahs.

Number 4. Florida. Offense has the potential to be one of the best with Smitty, Genzy, and Freeze. Defensively may be a cause for concern but Choo will be good and  frosty was a steal in net for Peace. Depth players are also very solid as well as a chance for dual smittys to be on the ice.

Number 5. New York. The difference between 4 and 5-6 is astronomical in the east. Sportsgeek started off by picking Adam who will likely only play g 3 times a week. Then went with AALI who will also be very good. However sportsgeek then watched 48 picks go by to then select Clark. The rest of the picks didn’t help the cause much either but they are a tad bit better than the next team…

Number 6. pittsburgh. I was told to be a bit more professional this afternoon, but I’m not sure how I am supposed to say this is ok. Shayne is a good dman. First rounder? Probably not. Beanzy the 3 a week goalie was the cherry on top and it was only round 2. Fadedbuttons? I mean this in the nicest way possible. They may win 3 games. Again, if you’d like to prove me wrong go for it. I just can’t see this ending well.

PRE SEASON POWER RANKINGS

Arm Chair Drafter Breakdown

by jonTurner

Another successful, but long draft, we shift focus to reviewing each team’s draft and  will list who I think are teams best and worst picks (not entirely skilled based but also where they were drafted). Thank you to everyone who stopped in on Wednesday night, support was much appreciated. Later this week I will post predictions. SP Underground Podcast also releasing Soon.

Western Conference. (Not Ranked in any specific order)

Colorado. Back to Back number one selection for Plisk and he made the right choice yet again. Bart was the clear cut number 1. However the picks that followed were a bit of a disappointment. Bart and Karlsson may need to score 5 each a game unless Vandoos turns back the clock and is in Vezina form. Best Pick: Fosix. Worst: Bart. Both self explanatory.

San Jose. Randy spent a lot of time prepping for the draft and it served him well. Built to contend for a cup Randy won’t have to worry about defense this time, Goaltending may be the only flaw here. Best pick(s): Morrow and NEWTXWN. Morrow is easily a first round LW and fell to the mid second. Newtown is a LGNHL dman and he fell to the 5th round before Randy stole him from Hughsy. Worst pick: Flashify. You picked the better goalie the round after but this still makes my head spin.

Nashville. Bigsolos return SP GM has come with backlash but if we want to be honest it’s a team where if the players show up and play, they will compete in a strong west. Goaltending and availability could be the main cause for concern as Fish and Fluri want it to be known that they are 3 a week. Best pick: Hyper. 3rd round pick in a shallow LD pool was a good snag. Worst Pick: PGH.Better options on the board at that spot.

Anaheim. If the first 3 of 4 picks weren’t 3 nights a week, this team would be very good. However, they are. I’d imagine egg may be making some trades and moves this season to make it in a tough west. Best pick: Mids. Probably second best RD in the draft pool, unfortunately low avail. Worst pick: Bradeii. Good player, but if he isn’t playing tough to live up to the top 10 selection.

St Louis. Doge, as expected, selected all the people that no one outside of him knew. Not much I dislike here except the GM. Well rounded team that people shouldn’t sleep on. Best Pick: WeekendNachos in the Fourth. Worst Pick: we345 as the last pick. Yes, I am liking something doge did.

Arizona. Likewise to doge, have a tough time finding holes here, Depth may be a bit of a concern and me not knowing where everyone will play also leaves me guessing. But the top 6 I see makes me nervous to play the Coyotes. Best Pick: LIAME0108. Chico picked up this underrated LW in the 500k round and could be a top forward if cards are played right. Worst Pick: Cuban. I think he could have waited on this one.

EASTERN CONFERENCE

Ottawa. Devon had a surprisingly good draft but the defense may be a cause for concern. Hardie first round with RD only interested me but it will play. The preseason trades seemed to be more beneficial to him and not others. Best Pick: Gunnnnxrr in the late 4th. Worst pick: Myself in the third round at 5.5 (can we seriously fix salaries)

New Alabama. Steve lived up to expectations and had a phenomenal draft. Built by very skilled forwards the Devils will be a tough beat. Defense outside of Steve will be a mystery however. Best Pick: SillyMonkeyy69 for obvious reasons. Worst pick: Teamrun. Expected better from you.

New York Islanders. Well. You have Adam. It wasn’t until the start of the 5th round did I realize that sportsgeek hasn’t made a pick since the first round. While his two firsts are good players, missing out on good mid round players may be the demise on Long Island. Best Pick: EL Rookie in round 6. Worst Pick. Clark. You had an hour to get ready and went clark.

Philadelphia. Likewise to New Jersey, Hughsy had a very good draft. I’d say this team is better than the team he started with last season. Only hole on this squad is a center which could be fixed if hughsy slides up and/or a role player steps up. Best Pick:TurkeyTennis. Turk will be the best g in SP this season depending on games played. Worst Pick. Sharkie.

Pittsburgh. Confusion is the first word that comes to mind when looking at the roster. I honestly have nothing to say and I feel bad but i’ll wish you guys luck. Best pick: Beanzy? Worst Pick: take your pick.

Florida. Peacekeeper also returns this season and has put together a team that will fight for a 3 or 4 seed in playoffs. This will be a scrappy group but will be very solid offensively. Best Pick: Genzy even though the availability isn’t there. Worst Pick: Heroic Veil since he wont admit hes steel.

Well that’s the first article of many this season. Enjoy the ride. All comments are good regardless and I appreciate it. More to come this weekend.

Pre Week 1 PowerRanking,

Hello everyone it’s your most beloved player in SPNHL history LispDoge. I wanna start off by saying thanks to all the players/owners/media who helped this season go underway, and want to give a shoutout to JonTurner. Thanks for putting up with that dreadful draft after Round 8, because holy crap it felt like it took forever. Anyways I went ahead and made a pre week 1 PowerRanking, don’t be butthurt over any of the rankings. Ya’ll have the chance to prove your ranking wrong starting Tuesday. Let’s get into it!

Image
  1. Starting off with the Flyers led by the man the myth the legend, Billyg7718! Joking, Led by Hughsy, we have them coming in at number 1; mainly because they have the best defensive pair in the league. With Kylej and Hughsy, it’s going to be a tough time keeping it down in their zone as they both can do quick breakouts up the ice, and with the talented forwards they have in xFIow, Jcpens, and at late steal they took Hedlessjem, whose a great SP center man. Only problem with this team is their cap space, but hughsy is smart enough as the past 3+ season reining Stanley Cup Winner to fix that issue.

Overall – A-

  1. At number two we have ustoopid leading the Devils, the reason I have this team placed higher than the next two is mainly to do with the chem from the left side with Semple and Ustoopid. On top of that you have a great player in John_dean who can play the C position as well on a defensive level. This is going to be another team to beat in the league, as they also have a strong goalie in Blade0muffin, as well as they still have a salary cap to improve this team even better if they so need.

  1. At number 3, which this probably will be controversial to SP life time players, the St Louis Blues, run by LispDoge the doofus himself.  The players in his squad might confuse a lot of veterans over here, but if you know them for other certain leagues you know that these are pretty competent strong players. With plenty of offensive talent who can play the Defence position pretty well, and with LispDoge being pretty much their worst player expect this team to be around the top 4 all season, unless his players end up egoing him.

  1. Sitting in at the 4 spot we have the Ducks, run by Mr.Eggman himself. Eggman surprised me quite a bit with his selections. He picked a good G7 Lineup with Bradeii running the LW, sniiider at RW, Jhursi at Center, and mids at LD. It seems as it will be another competitive team for this upcoming season, but lets hope everything goes well for him!

  1. At 5 we have the Gutless Sharks, bringing back his old goalie tandem from last season. They will be without Fish and Bxrt this season so we’ll see how this has the effect on the team. They have Good solid Forward presence, but their Defense seems to be pretty shaky once again. Easily will be a playoff spot team, but I don’t see them at this minute winning it all. Also Goodluck with availability from N3wtown that 3 a week is going to hurt him in the process.

  1. At 6 we have a surprise Devon! He made a semi competent team once again. With runner up vezina man himself Jonturner, and hxrdie playing defense this season we’ll see how they fare against top talented teams. That’s a nice strong Lineup you got, can’t wait for you to be roasted by your teammates throughout the season, I want to play a bet for at least 1 week before someone requests a trade. No but seriously Devon, don’t gift wrap any players to any teams, unless you get something of value in return :).

  1. In at 7 we got the Coyotes led by Chico, honestly I know this team will be a contender, but I have them ranked low, because he took the player I wanted that would’ve completed my team of people I had in mind to draft. No but seriously, good job chico, I knew it would be good offensively, my only question is where the hell is your defense. Jewell is a troll. But I know the forwards will be a problem for teams here! Also a good take on Chadkillz solid goalie there.

  1. At 8, we got the Colorado Avalanche, I can’t wait to watch Bxrt and Karlssonisgod heat up this season. One guy is a troll, the other doesn’t know the R2 button. Still a solid team, I see you being the team that competes for the playoff spot itself, mainly due to cap space, and the lack of solid defenseman. Goodluck this season scrub! 1. Here we go last 4 teams ranked on my list. At 9 we got the Panthers led by PEACEKEEPER500 himself. How do you beg for owning a team and you draft Miss Rogue as your best Skater/Goalie. Jokes, Your team isn’t terrible it just lacks Top Wingers, and also Defenseman, I believe you’ll fix it up considering I stole Clampse from you, but I have a feeling you might sneak in the last playoff spot. Honestly good luck!

  1. At 10 we have the Predators. I honestly don’t know what to say about this team, from the start I had a feeling you’d pick hyper, but to take fishhure on the same team… If you payed attention in general chat you’d see those guys can’t create chemistry, and the fact you have PGH as your best Left Defense, shows your team has no shot the way it is to make playoffs. Once again, I don’t wish for any non competitive teams, so maybe you’ll prove me wrong, but I gotta see it to believe it.

  1. Here we go the last two, starting with The Penguins at 11! Somehow you didn’t make the worst team on paper, but the second worst! Congrats on drafting a Goalie in the 2nd round, and a Mid Level RD on the first. You played yourself. I’ll be honest you would’ve been better off trading your first pick away like St. Louis because no one was touching Shayne until most likely the 3rd round. He’s a good player, but not worth the first rounder. Alltro I think you’re a good guy, and you got the cap space to add some talent. I’m hopeful to see you make some changes that will make you a competitor.

  1. In the Preseason Power Rankings, coming in at the 12th spot is the New York Islanders. Everything Started great with the Draft. From Doranz, than Aali, I figured after our talk you were going to build a great team, but then you memed me, and everyone by taking clark with your next pick in the 6th round and then Jmm. How did you manage to go over cap still when you legit picked late rounds only! Anyways you’re a good dude, I really want you to succeed and make the playoffs over the other bottom 4 teams. So Play your heart outs Islanders!

DRAFT LIST RANKING

by Turner

Draft week! Haven’t been this excited since Hughsy’s Dad… never mind. Today I am bringing you an inside look at the draft list and where these players rank. Special shoutout to Randy for creating the list I will be using today, wouldn’t be possible without him. Also if you’re upset about where you land, take it up with him.

I will ramble on for maybe the first 10-24 ish (First and Second round) for each player. Sorry if you weren’t good enough to make it that high.

Number 1. Coveted spot. Top Signing bonus. Whole lot of pressure. Back at LW this season. BART. That’s right. The best player signed up this season is the one and only Bart. After spending a season on Defense, which he should never do again, he will be returning to forward where he took home multiple awards in season 44. Clear cut number 1. (Up 20 spots from last season)

Number 2. Doranz. The highly skilled skater follows Bart. Doranz can make bad players look elite, ie. Bradeii. When on defense, Doranz was nearly a 3 ppg defenseman last season while playing with previously named Bradeii. Well deserving of the number 2 spot (Same as last season)

Number 3. Hughsy. The 4 time Champion checks in at 3. He returns to Philadelphia to try to go back to back as a gm. The plug and play GM will get it done at a high level regardless of position. If he finds players to match his ability, watch out as 5 straight may be inevitable. (Same as last season)

Number 4. xBradeii. Mentioned earlier, Brad is actually a very good LW who knows the game well and delivers when the team needs it. A good defensive winger is hard to come by but Brad plays a true 200 foot game. Can’t beat me in fantasy baseball but hey! (Last season: Unranked)

Number 5. Chico. Coming off a strong season on defense, Chico will main C this season where he’s had success in LG. Despite backlash towards him, Chico is very good like the rest of the names above.  (Last season: 7)

Number 6. KyleJ. Kyle is our first RD to be mentioned and rightfully so, he is the best out of the bunch. Another cup winning season with him holding down the back end despite trying to score on his own net. (Last season:5)

Number 7: JohnDean. John is well known in SP as a true lockdown two way Center. He may be looking to switch it up and run RW this season where he is still very successful. A season that ended without a cup was a rare occurrence as he is a winner wherever he goes, he will look to get back to the top. (Last season: 11)

Number 8. EpicSkillzy. Skillzy has been a solid RW for as long as he’s been around. In a shallow rw season, he is right up there with the top guys. Despite having Tuesday only availability, he is a top end talent. (Last season: -)

Number 9. Xgenzy. Genzy is known more for his defensive work, but here has refused everything but C and G. At C however, he has found success in LG and will look for that to translate into SP. (Last season: -)

Number 10. Lxppy. A skilled forward who knows how to move the puck around and generate offense. Valued here as late first, he will play up to that standard and even beyond.

(Last season: 9)

Number 11. Flow. A newcomer to SP this season, Flow has been successful every place he’s gone. A pure goal scorer in a game where some struggle to score. If he falls out of round 1 a GM will be happy for him to land in their lap. (Last season: – )

Number 12. ProdigytoLegend. Considered a top LW in this draft, Prod would round out a solid first round of players. While in SP, Prod does not lose too often. (Last season: – )

Number 13. Smitty. After falling last season in the draft since no one knew he changed names, Smitty was a large part of the Sharks dangerous offense. A 100 point season is no small achievement. Smitty should be a first rounder but again if he slips others will laugh.

(Last season: 97, what the hell Randy)

Number 14. Fishhure/Fihshi. The reigning Rocket and Hart Winner should also be a first round pick. A guy who will play 46 games a season if required. Although he has only Friday avail so that may not happen. (Last season: 14)

Number 15. Fluri. A true SP vet who likes winning a bit more than losing. Fluri finds a way to be a top scoring leader regardless of position being played. Another guy however with 1 day avail. (Last season: 15)

Number 16. uStoopiid. A true hero. A fan favorite amongst SP. Very good LD who’s not afraid to let his inner primate out. Steve will always be a top LD in SP not much else to it.

(Last season: 8)

Number 17. BEANZYYYY. Gotta love the sibling duo on the list. If Beanzy wasn’t a troll and signed up for anything other than LD and G he’d be top 5. But here we are. Good player, ended my LG career at LD. never again. (Last season: 1)

Number 18. Ande. A good pick in the second round would be this man right here. A good two way center who when with the right people will be deadly. (Last season: 16)

Number 19. Bstieboydp. The former SP vet returns for season 46. A solid Center he ranks as a mid second round pick.  (Last season: – )

Number 20. Toslick. Welcome back. Solid forward who will yell at you for anything. 1 Day a week avail.  (Last season: – )

Number 21. AAli-21. Strong center in what seems to be a C heavy early rounds. Solid avail.

 (Last season: – )

Number 22. Semple. Forward who scores a lot. Can play well with anyone and likes to have a good time. (Last season: 15)

Number 23. Chad. Chad will be a top end goalie every season and will also play a bit of forward at a high level as well. Chad could go higher if teams would like. (Last season: 6 )

Number 24. Agedquod. Solid lg stats. Looking like he could be a top LW this season.

Season 46 Owner preview

-by Turner

With season Fo Six now upon us, it is time for me to return as your favorite article read. As I should be studying for a math test I am here bringing you the first article of season 46. With the new list of GMs being revealed earlier this week, I will be giving the people the good ole fashion tier list. Welcome back gentleman, enjoy the ride.

Tiers consist from S to F (and my special category at the end)

S Tier – Hughsy

The 4 time SP Champ will be returning to Philly for a chance to go back to back and extend his streak to 5. Of all GMs, this is the cream of the crop, the GM others strive to be. If you are lucky enough to be drafted here, enjoy the ride and be grateful

A Tier – RandyMarsh, uStoopiid, Chico

Two GMs find themselves in this tier. We will start with Randy and the Sharks. After 2 successful seasons, one ending in a cup, Randy will look to build a team to get back to the promise lands. Randy is a fun GM so if you’re new and are a Shark, you are in good hands. As for uStoopiid, he’s not actually stupid. Despite building a top 4 team last season, Steve failed to make the playoffs as they trolled themselves out of it. However he is a very good player, even better GM to play for. Another guy who obviously wants to win, but will have fun in the process. Chico finishes this tier off. Chico is a top 10 player in the league and will take his talents to GMing. While many people dislike Chico, he will certainly build a solid team and compete in the West.

B Tier – Eggman

I’ve had a few choice words for Egg as a GM but at the end of the day his team’s win. If you do happen to get picked by Egg, you will be a duck for the remainder of your season unfortunately. Anaheim is a jail for that matter. But again Eggs team win so do be too upset.

C Tier – SA_Pliskin, BigSolo and Peacekeeper

Another tier with two GMs. Plisk always builds teams that may not be the best, the flashiest, or winners for that matter. But they always seem to compete. Plisk is an awesome guy and will make your time here in SP enjoyable. For BigSolo I do not know much about him but from what i’ve been told he is an SP vet. Expect him to build a greasy team that grinds out wins against everyone. Peace returns after a SP break. He forced numerous people to join and then ultimately had a GM role fall into his lap. Peace builds solid squads that like Plisk find ways to win games. Peace will look to compete in a weak two team East.

D Tier – WheelChairDevon and SportsGeek

Devon constantly drafts good players, then trades them for the likes of teamrun and dustyroads. Devon has recently won a Cup but being gifted possibly one of the best SP teams in recent memory, that could be a key component. Devon is one of the best guys in SP. Gameplay doesn’t translate sometimes. If you end up here, don’t make his job difficult and just show up. Sportsgeek last season was acting GM of the West Champs Calgary. However it is known he was just a puppet as the team made decisions for him. Now that he will be on his own and actually has to play, it should be interesting. Have fun Islanders.

Who? Tier – AllTro

Uh. If anyone has insight, be my guest to let me know. Because I have no clue who this is. Good luck Penguins?

F Tier but imagine it’s a lot worse than everyone else – LispDoge

Doge means well and tries his best but there’s just something about him. He will probably end up with a solid squad and will compete for a playoff spot. I wish you luck this season and hope I am not a Blue.

Thank you to my loyal supporters, look for more content before the draft. Myself and Fish will be on the call draft night. I will be sporting a nice tie and hope my facecam works.

First and Second Teams

Offseason. This is new. I’ve been given my official media tag so I’m like a big deal now. This week I will be bringing you a few things to wrap up season 45 and get us ready for 46. Today I will be giving out my First and Second team players, and All defensive team for the Regular season.

FIRST TEAM PLAYERS

First team players are the top of the bunch. The play is exponential better and the stats show

Your First team LW. Fishhure. Tho Fish mains RW (now c watch out) he played a bunch of games on LW this season and still produced at a high level. League forward leader in Goals, Assists, Points and Games played this is a clear and concise pick. To put his excellence into perspective, The Sharks scored 231 goals this season while Fish played, he accounted for a point on 166 of those. Another solid season turned in for Fish

First Team Center. Later Smitty. Smitty Exemplified the Center position well. He won over 50% of his draws while having a positive GV/TK margin which gave him the edge for First Team Honors. Smitty added 110 points and turned in a 57 +/-. He was the Robin to Fish most of the season finding him a bunch. Not to mention he shot nearly 43% so when a goal was needed he could be counted on

First Team RW. Boknows. Will be talked about a lot this week in post season awards and rightfully so. Bo posted a league best 4.9 PPG recording 127 points in 26 games. If it wasn’t for a mid season vacation and bad Thursday avail, he runs away with all forward awards. Like Smitty, when Bo shot, there was a high chance it would go in.

First Team LD. Doranz. As most people know Doranz is easily a top 3 player in SP regardless of season. Doranz led qualified Dmen with an astonishing 2.9 ppg. This comes as no surprise as he had to carry Brad on the left side all season. The GV/TK margin isn’t as good as others but when you put in the perspective of how much he had the puck it makes sense. Just too good of an offensive threat to leave off this list.

First Team RD. Reimattack. Reim was a backbone all season to the Flyers defensive success. His league leading 64 points on D brought another element to the offense. But when called on defensively he was there. A 3.55 GV/TK was amongst the best in that scoring bracket. If I wasn’t dumb enough to play fourth forward on D, Reim would’ve ran away with the Norris (Yeah bart).

First Team Goalie. Liljxgren. This season Calgary had two high Quality goaltenders. Gren just happened to be a bit better in my eyes. A 12-5 record put him in 4th for wins. His 80 save percentage and a 2.71 gaa puts him 2nd in the league for both categories. He also posted 3 shutouts in the 17 games played.

SECOND TEAM PLAYERS

Like the players above, these ones are right there at the top, just a notch below.

Second Team LW. Xbradeii. In Brad’s first season in SP he made a splash. Totaling 105 points in 30 games, this was good enough for 5th in that category. Brad also played a solid two way role locking up solid RWs on other teams. A player who has the capabilities to step up to a first team, we shall see if he stays and develops into that role.

Second Team C. Hughsy. Hughsy was right there with Smitty for first team honors but a lesser point total and GV/TA margin landed him here. Second team is not a slight to him whatsoever as he is a perennially force defensively regardless of position. Acting as a third defenseman and putting up 103 points is fairly impressive. He also finished second in Faceoff percentage for qualified players.

Second Team RW. J_Sherminator. Sherm had a phenomenal season like most of his counterparts on the first team, but being pigeon holded behind the best Forward in the league and bouncing around a bit between C and RW is why he’s on the second team. Sherm registered 124 points in 34 games, good for 3rd in the league. He also played solid defense and was an important piece of the run to the cup.

Second Team LD. Bxrt. Bart and Randy will never be split up again for some reason. Bart may never play defense again but he turned in a solid season. Second in the League in points with 61 and a solid GV/TA of 3.33. Bart is a really skilled forward who should probably stick to forward.

Second Team RD. Shxyne. Shayne wasn’t the best Dman on his own team but he lands here because he plays RD and not LD (And also plays the position right). Jokes aside, Shayne was a staple for the team’s success on defense. A 1.61 GV/TK ratio and adding 50 points to his name, Shayne lands himself second team honors.

Second Team G. Flashify. This was tough not to give to Chad but Flashify finished the season 13-1 and a 78 save percentage that was above an 80 before the final game. In this stretch he solidified his role as starter for the Sharks but couldn’t get it done come playoff time.

ALL DEFENSIVE TEAM

As simple as it sounds. Best defensive player at each position.

All Defensive LW.  xBradeii. Second time coming in today is Brad. As I stated earlier Brad did a really good job at slowing opposing teams RWs down. Brad’s Takeaway to giveaway numbers were solid for a guy who saw the puck a lot.

All Defensive C. John Dean. This comes as a shock to literally no one. John is always one of the best defensive centers in the game. One of a handful of Forwards to have a positive GV/TK stat is an impressive mark to reach. John was a key reason for the frustrations teams had in the playoffs vs the Caps.

All Defensive RW. J_Sherminator. Sherm, like Brad, finds himself on another list for good reason. Sherm displayed an exceptional ability to play on both ends of the ice at a high level. Adding to his high point total, he was top 5 in both takeaways and interceptions.

All Defensive LD. WheelChairDevon. As shocked as everyone else reading that is, Dev actually turned in solid numbers in his 19 games on defense. With a GV/TA ratio of 6.53, dev led the league among qualified players. Dev also caused chaos, laying the BOOM with 240 hits, also tops in the league.

All Defensive RD. BIG DAN/illusionz. Illusionz is new to SP this season but was a huge contributor on the defensive side of the puck. On a team like Buffalo where Steve would control the puck on breakouts, Illusionz was serviceable enough to be trusted. He posted a 6.42 GA/TK ratio, 2nd only behind Devon.

All Defensive G. Alonzi. Alonzi is this season’s goalie who saw the most pucks. A total of 518 shots were recorded, 90 more than the next closest. Despite this Alonzi was among the top ten of goalies posting a 77 save percentage stopping nearly 400 pucks this season.

Stanley Cup Champions – Season 46

Welcome back to the show that has yet to be named. I am your host, The now 2x Champ, Jon Turner. Tonight we will recap what was truly a grind off a Cup Final, and give special shoutouts to my Flyer teammates. Without Further ado, let’s get started.

Flyers Flames was a fantastic series to be a part of. Both teams played tremendously and could’ve gone either way. Unlike prior series, both teams shook up game 1 lineups. Flyers went depth players and the Flames went top line for all of Tuesday night. Game 1 was one of 2 games to go to OT in this series. Calgary looked to take advantage of the depth lineup and after going up 2-0 in the game it looked to be out of reach for the Flyers who were being heavily outplayed. But it was a late second period Powerplay goal from A-mason to bring the game within reach. It was again Mason who potted a goal to level the game midway through the third.

Both teams had late flurries of chances but we headed to OT. Just after a Power Play ended, it was Sherm who worked into the corner and found Pseudo defenseman Chico to give the Flames a 1-0 series lead, which would be their only series lead. Game 2 Flyers brought the best line in SP out of the press box and down to the ice to try to even the series up. It took some time for them to get going trailing 1-0 for the majority of the game but solid goaltending gave them a chance to get into a groove in the third. 3 goals in the final period would be the difference as the series would be evened at 2. Game 3 started where game 2 left off. 4 goals, two aside.

Defense settled in and we remained knotted at 2 into the third. BoKnows broke the tie around the 15 minute mark in the third. Back and forth for the remainder of the game the Flames had a powerplay chance with under 5 to go but the Flyers prevailed and it was Sniiider with a breakaway goal to put the Flyers 2 wins away from a championship. Game 4 was a game the Flames were required to play the players who haven’t registered a game yet. Flyers took this and ran away with a 4-0 win putting them 1 win away. Game 5 seemed like it was destined to be the last of the season. 2 goals in the first for the Flyers, the offense then sputtered due to a phenomenal game from Chad. The Flames capitalized with 1 in the second and 1 in the third before ultimately winning the game in OT.

Game 6 the Flyers would again look to end the season. But the Flames continued with the offense with a powerplay goal. Sniiider who was the guy when you needed a goal all playoffs was there with one to even it up at the end of the first. Late in the second it was hughsy finding the back of the net on a sweet find from sniiider to put the Flyers up 1. 20 minutes away could the Flyers hold out? Quickly into the third again sniiider on a fabulous pass found Bo back door for an easy tap in. But the Flames wouldn’t go quietly. With just over 13 minutes to play Sherm redirected a shot from Chico to cut the lead to 1. Flyers locked it down and Turner was steller in net with 7 of his 17 saves in the third period. Sniiider would add one more goal for good measure. The Flyers lifted the cup on home ice sending us into the off season. Congrats to Hughsy and the Flyers on a tremendous season.

I’ll Start from the top. Hughsy. It was a pleasure to essentially shadow you as a agm. A phenomenal two way player and Congratulations on your 4th straight and if you’re trying to make it 5, I’ll be there. Bo. Thank you for carrying us in the regular season offensively and putting me in the Norris hunt. Sniiider. Arguably the greatest person alive. That’s it. Reim. Props for putting up with me trying to play ld and bailing me out. Kyle. Idk why you enjoy trying to score on me, we wear the same jersey. THAFOSIX. He’s better than all of you idc. BG and Ayytrain sorry everyone was scared of you and didn’t play, you guys are solid. Amazon. MY MAN. Make sure everyone knows you’re better than Randy next Christmas.

Thank you all for reading and an incredible season. There will be more Season 45 content out this week before we shift gears to 46. Until next time, Champ out.

Stanley Cup Preview

Just sitting here trying to think of how to start this was giving me a headache so this is what I came up with. 7 weeks has led up to this, The Season 45 SPNHL Cup Final. Our two opponents, the Flames and the Flyers will battle it out on the upcoming days that start with T. To those who have fallen prior to this Round, Sit back and relax because the show has just begun.

The Flames journey here was simple. A quick sweep of the Kings and a competitive 5 game series win over offensive juggernaut San Jose. Despite being the number 1 overall seed, the Flames were merrily overlooked by most people, Including their own teammate Shayne. Despite this the Flames silenced the critics making quick work of the Sharks. Availability for Tuesday was an issue Randy wasn’t expecting and put the Sharks in a bind before the puck even dropped. Despite this their depth players and a mix of Tcs showed out and took the Flames to OT but would fall. Game 2 featured some familiar faces on the roster for the Sharks and also went to OT where the Sharks would win 5-4 (Good prediction Jon). The Flames would end the night with a 4-2 win putting them up 2 games to 1. Coming into Thursday the Sharks had all the confidence in the world with their top line returning together. Despite outplaying the Flames statistically, they would drop game 4 and 5 and Shark week would end in its Tracks. Randy’s Quest at being the first GM to repeat in ages was abolished. To the Sharks, you are all great people and had an awesome season. For the Flames we will chat more about you below.

The Prince of Wales will stay with a Metro team for a 4th consecutive season. The Flyers path to get here is eerily similar to the Flames. A quick sweep in round 1 and a very competitive 5 game series win over the Caps. Unlike the Flames, the Flyers were heavy favorites to win the series (voting Finished 21-2). Despite it being done in 5, 3 Overtime games, all 4 played being 1 goal games, the Caps showed that they truly were right there and could’ve gone either way. In games 1 and 2 he Caps held leads of 1-0 and 2-0 respectively but crumbled in the waning minutes of both games. Giving up 2 late ones in game 1 sealed the deal for Philly and again in game two relinquishing 2 goals in just under 5 minutes. Two costly penalties gave all the momentum to the Flyers as they would skate off with a 3-2 victory. Game 3 the scoring picked up early and often. It seemed when one team would score, the other would answer right back. Fluri buried 5 enroute to a 5-4 OT win. Although as I stated last week Kyle would try to score on me, he did bury two past me including the OT winner. Game 4 was not played due to circumstances that a preschooler would have figured out but the doorknobs in Washington couldn’t. Despite having 0 minutes of ice time, FoSix is now the betting favorite to win Conn Smythe being 2-0 with 2 game winning goals. Game 5 started promptly on time this go around and again it was the Caps who held 2 goal leads at multiple occasions (2-0 and 3-1) but again with time running out the Caps couldn’t hold onto it. Fluri coughed up the puck and and after a nice find from Snider, Hughsy evened the game at 3. Bo would ultimately end the series with a back hand from a sharp angle. To the Caps, people may be mad at egg more not making any moves at all, but the team he built from day one was a team that competed with the best of them, hats off to you, The rest of the team, you guys fought hard even while playing with Fluri for nearly 2 months.

The Final 2. 1 vs 1. Team names the Start with F. Both names have 6 letters.  33-10-2 records. First Round sweep. Second Round 4-1. You get the Point. Flyers Flames have led the way in their respective conferences the whole way. The Flames won the season series but the teams haven’t had the chance to go top line vs top line until now (availability warranted). As unbiased as I can, we shall start with the Flyers. When you check playoff leaders it’s all the Flyers logo (except goalie, idk what you want me to do when the other team shoots twice a game and 1 goes in). Bo carried on where he left off leading the playoffs in points averaging a bit over 4 ppg.  Hughsy and snider add in a modest 3.5 ppg a piece to go alongside Bo. On Defense Kyle and Reim have been a staple in the Flyers back end. We have yet to see what the depth players have to offer as everyone so far is scared to match up with them so we will leave a blank on that. In net is myself with a sick save percentage of 69 with a 6-1 record and a 2.5 gaa (see i’m not that bad). Offense struggled a bit against the unique defense of the Capitals in R2 but look for them to flourish and bounce back against a solid Flames Dcore. Now to the other side. The shark hunters are coming off the boat with blood on their hands looking to finish the job. The Flames have been the most complete team thus far in the Playoffs with the lone blemish coming in OT of Game 2. The depth players have shown up and won their games and were key wins in both series. When the top line is out there they’ve been to score against anyone. Chico mixed it up a bit this week and played 3 games up front and it seemed to work just fine. Their G7 lineup was listed as Karlsson Cupi and Sherm on forward with Chico and Shayne on D with Chad tending the net. As I am not on this team I can’t give you much insight to how they will line up for the Finals but regardless of who’s out there they will be more than capable of getting the job done.

This series will probably be a toss up for most people rightfully so. As I have in the past, I will list the positional breakdown. For all positions I think the margins are razor thin and most people again would agree. For that reason I will give advantages on each position rather than on a group of players. On offense LW advantage I will give to the Flames. Karlsson or Chad playing is the best LW in this series. At center is the 3 time Champion Hughsy. Hughsy plays a full 200 foot game that you need your center to play. RW not sure this is much of a discussion. Boknows. Cupi has been able to find the back of the net quite a bit here but Bo is the best player in this series on both sides. LD I comeback to Chico here. Chico Could arguably be the best Dman in this series. I think he edges out Reim as most Flames games I’ve watched Chico controls the play for them a majority of the time. For RD I’ll give it to Kyle over Shayne strictly because Kyle beat him in versus a bunch. Two solid Dmen tho. In net I’ll give it to the Flames because statistically I suck and Chad and Liljgren suck a bit less. All 3 goalies named are really good and can win games when counted on.

As you can see this is about as even as it can get. It has 7 games written all over it. I’d get attacked if I didn’t pick my own team from some people but if I had no involvement my pick would be Philly in 6 and that’s what I will be locking in for the final time this season. Thank you to everyone for giving this a read and allowing me to take over SP articles. Hope you enjoyed it and will see y’all next week.
