Avs open it up in the first with a give and go early on. then follow it up in the second with a jump deke to enter the zone followed by a drop pass. The avs continue to pour it on in the second period extending the lead to 6-0.
Tampa bay does get on the board in the third after applying high amount of pressure but it was too little too late as the avalanche win this one 8-3
